What is the meaning of Binomial nomenclature.

It is the method of assigning of names to organisms using two Latin words, the first denoting the genus and the second descriptive name, the two, together constitute the name of species for example Biological name of human: Homo sapiens. Homo = Genus & Sapiens = Species.

What is binary fission?

The division or cleaving of prokaryotic cells into two identical daughter cells is called as binary fission.

What is a Basidium?

Basidium, plural basidia are the club shaped structures that lines the surfaces of gills on the underside of a mushroom. Example: Agaricus.
