What is Cell theory?

Cell theory is a set of statements that covers the essential characteristics of cell such as cells are basic unit of life, these make up all organisms and these arise from pre existing cells.

What is a cecum?

Cecum is a blind ended tube - like structure that extends from the intestine and holds food for an extended period of time to enhance digestion and absorption of nutrients. In humans it is a reduced vestigial structure such as appendix, whereas in some animals it is highly functional and active structure such as malpigian tubules of insects.

What is a Catkin?

Catkin is a pendulous spike of flowers that contain either of the reproductive components such as androecium or gynoecium. Catkins usually falls from the entire plant after attaining maturity.

What are Catalysts?

Catalysts are the molecules that increase the rate of a biochemical reaction without being consumed during that reation. Biological catalystcs are primarily protein molecules commonly known as enzymes.
